We’re seeking a Data Architect to help design and implement the next generation of Gobel’s data platform. This role will own the architecture of a scalable, client-agnostic data warehouse and help establish the frameworks required to unify disparate datasets from CRMs, EMRs, and enrichment sources. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in modern data architecture with a strategic, collaborative mindset, and is comfortable working with internal teams, client data feeds, and external consultants to define and deliver a robust foundation for analytics and modeling.

• Responsible for the architecture of a centralized data warehouse that supports multiple data sources and client pipelines
• Define standards for schema design, metadata management, data lineage, and versioning
• Establish data quality frameworks and governance models to ensure reliability and auditability
• Develop scalable frameworks to ingest, standardize, and transform diverse client datasets
• Work closely with implementation and product teams to understand real-world data variation
• Support integration of ETL/ELT tools, orchestration layers, and transformation logic
• Serve as technical partner to the Data Scientist, Product Managers, and Services teams
• Work with client-facing teams to understand integration needs and onboarding complexity
• Contribute to defining long-term platform strategy and infrastructure roadmap
• Ensure architecture decisions align with healthcare data standards

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years experience designing and deploying modern data architectures
  • Strong SQL and experience with relational and columnar data warehouse platforms
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools, ELT frameworks, and data modeling practices
  • Experience architecting systems that support disparate data sources and schema variability
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate technical strategy for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Preferred:
  • Experience with healthcare data (CRM, EMR, patient encounter data, etc.)
  • Prior experience in an early-stage or fast-growth tech environment
  • Familiarity with data compliance requirements in healthcare

GOBEL offers annual compensation starting at $175,000+, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
