About the Role

As a Manager of Business Development & Marketing at GOBEL, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our marketing and sales efforts to reach and engage with our target audience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about marketing to gain valuable experience and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You’ll work closely with the Vice President of Business Development to craft compelling proposals to secure new business opportunities, execute various marketing campaigns, analyze media performance metrics, and contribute to developing innovative strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

MARKETING

  • Handle marketing and public relations activities, including coordinating marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, and assisting with the creation of marketing materials.
  • Responsible for developing and writing content for various platforms, such as the company’s website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor media coverage of GOBEL and its competitors to stay informed of industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance the brand and reputation.
  • Assist with other marketing projects as needed.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Work with Business Development and Consultants to generate clear and complete proposals, sales presentations and other business development materials (to include background/context, executive summary, scope of work, and other content) often under strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts to ensure the effective integration of all research and relevant client case studies into proposals.
  • Apply critical thinking and collaboration to enhance strategy for RFPs, proposals, sales presentations, estimates and budgets, recognizing when to seek guidance from leadership.
  • Understand sales strategies and provide proposal packages that support these strategies and the client needs.
  • Provide final proofreading, editing, formatting and organizational support on all proposals.
  • Proactively drive process standardization to gain efficiencies and improve workflows.
  • Develop and maintain standardized proposal templates for all services lines and create a proposal content library for the organization to access and reference.
  • Assist with other sales projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Sales or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in public relations, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and utilizing analytics tools to track performance.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail to contribute innovative ideas and ensure high-quality marketing and sales materials.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and willingness to assist with various marketing and sales projects as needed.
  • Experience using HubSpot (preferred)

GOBEL offers compensation in the range of $50,000 – $60,000 based on experience, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus. In addition, GOBEL offers excellent healthcare, including company-paid employee coverage for medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, disability, and life insurance, and retirement savings plan (401k) with a company match.
