
FUTURE – Vice President (Consultant)

The Vice President (Consultant) will have the opportunity to help some of the best organizations in the world solve some of their most difficult philanthropic challenges. Throughout your tenure you will gain broad exposure to a variety of different areas in healthcare philanthropy.
The Consultant working collaboratively with other consultants, will provide consulting services that may include fundraising program, campaign and organizational reviews and assessments; grateful patient and campaign planning and management; strategic planning (feasibility) studies; major gift program planning and execution; and volunteer and staff training.
The Consultant will participate in the following activities:
- Participate in the onboarding call with new clients to best understand their history and needs.
- Collect information and participate with client onsite visits and phone calls to assess their current fundraising program, ask probing questions, take detailed notes and develop a written plan for implementation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, customized training and reference materials.
- Work with internal team/clients to customize and operationalize the implementation of contracted GOBEL programming (Grateful Patient Program, Assessment, Feasibility Study, Campaign, G2G/Physician Referrals, etc.)
- Work on various client engagements; participating at varying levels.
- Stay abreast of industry advances and best practices.
- Participate in business development and sales presentations/initiatives.
- Other duties as needed to ensure client engagements are moving forward.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of direct healthcare philanthropy experience, preferably with grateful patient programs and major campaign planning and implementation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical ability and adept at problem solving.
- Proven ability to achieve deliverables and drive results.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Proficiency using MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
- Comfortable being onsite along GOBEL team members with clients as well as working remotely using Zoom, Teams, etc.
- May travel to be onsite with the client, generally alongside other members of GOBEL. Travel should not exceed 40% of your time and will generally be day trips or one overnight for a two-day trip each week.
GOBEL offers competitive compensation ($110,000 – $150,000 depending on experience) with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus.
