St. Petersburg, FL | November 5, 2021 – Gobel, America’s leading healthcare philanthropy consulting and technology company, announced today it has closed a new round of financing. SSM Health, a Gobel client and an $8 billion health system headquartered in St. Louis, MO, led the round.
Gobel offers clients the most comprehensive and advanced solutions for building a robust healthcare philanthropy program, from analytics to program, campaign, and organizational reviews, to grateful patient and campaign planning and management, to operations and database services, to primary and secondary research, peer analysis and benchmarking. Gobel will use the resources from this round to accelerate its development of technology and consulting products for healthcare philanthropy.
Over the last six months, Gobel has added 20 seasoned healthcare philanthropy professionals and clinicians, bringing its total workforce to nearly 50. With this significant investment of new resources, Gobel expects to hire an additional 40 to 50 professionals in the next 18 months to manage its growing client base. They bring more than 250 years of healthcare philanthropy experience to their client engagements, having led programs that have raised hundreds of millions annually and having directed billion-dollar campaigns. Over the last 10 years, Gobel has worked with 550 hospitals and health systems and continues to grow.
