Gobel Group Welcomes Susan Ulrich as Chief Product Officer
PHILADELPHIA, PA | June 2, 2021 – Gobel Group is excited to announce it has hired Susan Ulrich as its new Chief Product Officer. Ulrich is responsible for enhancing and developing Gobel Group’s technology product lineup. She will work closely with the firm’s consultants and clients to understand how Gobel and its products can best help healthcare organizations achieve their philanthropic goals.
“Susan will be an amazing addition to our team. We could not have found a better, more experienced and talented individual to lead our product development team. We have many new products currently in development that will allow clients to transform their work and results. With Susan on our team, we hope to accelerate our go to market strategy and increase the breadth and depth of our offerings,” says Chad Gobel, Founder and CEO.
Ulrich joins Gobel with 30 years of fundraising experience. She is a proven fundraising professional, enterprise software consultant, and leader of philanthropic operations. Most recently, Susan spent 14 years with Blackbaud, serving in leadership roles in product development, consulting and business development. She played a leadership role in bringing Blackbaud’s Grateful Patient module to market. Prior to Blackbaud, Ulrich was the first executive director of the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital Foundation in Huntingdon, PA. She managed all aspects of the foundation and had the insight to implement the hospital’s first grateful patient, employee giving, and donor recognition programs. Her comprehensive strategy increased fundraising revenue by 678% in just three years.
“My passion for creating solutions to help organizations fulfill their missions through philanthropy and Gobel’s vision to empower healthcare clinicians to embrace gratitude through their patients’ and families’ healing journey is a natural and powerful match,” says Ulrich. “I look forward to working with Chad and the Gobel team to expand on the great work they have already accomplished.”
Susan is the author of six publications. Her peers recognized Susan in the AFP Allegheny Mountains Chapter as its first Outstanding Fundraising Professional in 2006; she held the CFRE designation from 2000-2018. She is a proud alumna of Gettysburg College, a committed donor to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, and a servant leader in her life’s work.
