*In February, the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation/Abby Spencer Moffat gave $10M to the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation to support the National Center for Families and Children/Addiction.
*In February, Joan and Irwin Jacobs gave $22M to University of California at San Diego Health toward its Center for Health Innovation.
*In February, sports legend Michael Jordan made a $10M gift to Make-a-Wish Foundation.
*In February, Philip and Sima Needleman gave $15M to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to fund the Needleman Program for Innovation and Commercialization/biomedical discoveries.
*In February, Richard M. Schulze Family gave $15M to Moffit Cancer Center to establish a proton therapy program at the institution.
*In February, Francis and Kathleen Rooney/The Rooney Foundation gave $20M to Naples Community Hospital to establish the Rooney Heart Institute and cardiac care.
