GOBEL’s Research Team keeps track of all publicly announced healthcare gifts of $10M+. Below find a list of principal/transformational gifts that took place in late November through December 2022.

Individual $10M+ healthcare gifts:

*In late November, the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation announced a $30M gift from Jim Pattison to fund a new acute care tower: Celebrating a transformational $30-million donation from Jim Pattison – Royal Columbian Hospital (rchfoundation.com)

*In December, the University of British Columbia received a $33.8M (CAN) gift to advance research to treat multiple sclerosis from an unnamed donor: Unnamed donor gives record $33.8 million to MS research in B.C. with goal of saving lives | CBC News

*In December, the Jupiter Medical Center announced a $25M gift from Johnny and Terry Gray in support of surgical advancements: Jupiter Medical Center Receives $25 Million Donation to Support Advanced Surgical Institute (jmcfoundation.org)

*In December, the Colorado University Cancer Center received a $20M gift from Katy and Paul Rady to fund initiatives to accelerate medical breakthroughs and improve patient outcomes: CU Cancer Center Receives $20 Million Gift to Advance Esophageal Cancer Research and Care (cuanschutz.edu)

*In December, Weill Cornell Medicine received a $20M gift from Andrew H. and Ann R.
