GOBEL Enhances Prospect Research Capability

New Associate Vice President Recently Appointed as Organization Grows

GOBEL, the world’s top healthcare philanthropy consulting and technology company, today announced the recent addition of Jennifer Moody, now in the position of Associate Vice President, Research. Ms. Moody joined GOBEL after a career with Henry Ford Health System as the Manager of Research and Prospect Management.

A Michigan State University graduate, Ms. Moody is active with the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), serving on the Ethics & Compliance Committee, as the Finance Lead for their Michigan chapter, and as a faculty member.  Previous to her most recent position at Henry Ford Health System, she served as Research and Donor Stewardship Coordinator for The Henry Ford, an arts and culture organization.

“Our mission is grounded in grateful patient fundraising, and any edge we can secure in that area is crucial to us,” said Chad Gobel, founder and CEO of GOBEL. “So naturally, we take great care in pursuing and securing expertise in prospect research.  Jennifer Moody has the skill, background, and enthusiasm for this work that is admirable.  We, and our clients, are delighted with her efforts and results.”

Ms. Moody is leading a team guiding the fundraising efforts of GOBEL Group clients and their prospect research needs. She is helping identify prospective donors, perform proactive research, prepare capacity/affinity screenings, create profiles, and evaluate prospects.  In addition, she has found the time to co-write the chapter on Prospect Management for Researchers in Fundraising’s Best Practice Guide and Handbook for Prospect Research.

“In the short time I’ve been at Gobel, it is remarkable how quickly I realized this ‘team’ is a family,” said Ms. Moody.  “Everybody is laser focused on the research job at hand, and our future is overwhelmingly bright.”

With her recent addition, she became a member of the largest team of consultants working in healthcare philanthropy. With 65 seasoned professionals and growing, GOBEL’s team is respected in the industry and has come from the top medical centers in the nation. GOBEL’s consultants collectively have more than 500 years of experience, have led programs that have raised hundreds of millions annually, and directed billion-dollar campaigns. Leading the healthcare philanthropy market, the company now features 300 active clients, 1,000 prior engagements, 65 full-time employees, a completed equity investment round and an expansive portfolio of consulting and technology solutions for healthcare organizations.
