$10M+ healthcare gifts in December 2025:
- Boston Children’s Hospital celebrated a $100M donation from Rob and Karen Hale. The gift supports mental and behavioral health care for children and families.
- Central Michigan University announced a total of $80M in donations composed of two, $40M donations from Covenant HealthCare and MyMichigan Health. The gifts name the Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at Central Michigan University and the CMU MyMichigan Health Medical Education Building.
- Michigan Technical University celebrated a $55M gift from Chang K. Park. The funding supports the Chang K. Park Center for Student Wellness.
- UW Medicine announced an anonymous donation which will generate annual disbursements estimated to exceed $50M over the next 50 years. The gift will cover tuition for senior-year clinical rotations of all undergraduate students enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Science Program.
- The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation received a $50M CAD donation from Peter Gilgan. The gift supports early cancer detection.
- Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital celebrated a $40M anonymous donation. The gift establishes the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Radiation Oncology Research Center and will bring together Mass General Brigham for Children, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Children’s National Hospital to collaborate.
- The Jed Foundation announced a $40M donation from MacKenzie Scott. The unrestricted gift will be used to support emotional wellbeing and prevent suicide in teens and young adults.
- UT San Antonio received a $30M gift from The Kate Marmion Charitable Foundation. The gift names the Kate Marmion School of Public Health.
- Cedars-Sinai celebrated a $30M gift from the Cayton Goldrich Foundation. The gift establishes the Cedars-Sinai Cayton BRCA Center.
- Northwestern University announced a $29M donation from Kimberly K. Querrey. The gift establishes the Querrey-Simpson Institute for Translational Engineering for Advanced Medical Systems.
- The Mary Cariola Foundation received a $25M donation from Tom Golisano. The gift exports expansion of services at the Mary Cariola Center, supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- The Smilow Cancer Hospital at Greenwich Hospital announced a $25M anonymous donation. The gift will be used toward the renovation and expansion of cancer care facilities in honor of retired oncologist Dickerman Hollister, MD.
- Dana-Farber Cancer Institute received a $20M donation from The Elaine and Eduardo Saverin Foundation. The gift supports metastatic breast cancer research and care.
- The Ottawa Hospital Foundation announced a $20M CAD gift from Kris Singhal and the Singhal family. In recognition of their donation, a building at the new hospital campus will be named in their honor.
- Clemson University Harvey S. Peeler, Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine celebrated a $16.5M donation from Don Quattlebaum. The gift names the Quattlebaum Hub, the Andy Quattlebaum Pavilion, and the Don and Hayden Quattlebaum Endowed Professorship.
- Old Dominion University announced a $15M gift from Joan Brock. The gift establishes the Joan P. Brock Institute for Nutrition Science and Health.
- Saint Agnes Medical Center celebrated a $13.6M bequest from The King J. Richter Estate. The gift supports the construction of a new emergency department, investments in new medical technology and devices, and improvements to access to care.
- The University of Sydney announced a A$11M donation from Paul Gobits. The gift establishes the Paul and Katherine Gobits (Koh) Chair of Pancreatic Cancer Research.
- Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago received an $11M donation from Don and Anne Edwards. The gift establishes the Edwards Family Division of Genetics and Rare Diseases.
- The Hospital for Special Surgery announced a $10M donation from Lauren and Robert Steers. The gift supports development of the HSS Digital Twin Platform to advance orthopedic surgical care.
- The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation celebrated a $10M gift from siblings Gregg Savage, Melissa Layton, and Emilee Savage Wright. The gift, in honor of their late parents Neal and Sherrie Savage, supports youth mental health.
- UC San Diego Health received a $10M grant from Prince Philanthropies. The grant launched the UC San Diego Health East Campus Behavioral Health Hub.
- Loyola University Maryland celebrated a $10M donation from Ellen and H. Edward Hanway. The gift supports the renovation and expansion of Donnelly Science Center and creates the Loyola Nursing Leadership Scholars.
- Rush University System of Health announced a transformational gift from The Harold B. Smith Foundation. The gift establishes the Harold B. Smith Family Cancer Research Center.
- The University of Chicago Medicine received a donation from Mark and Maureen Miller. The gift launched the Miller Family Center for Rare Blood Cancers.
