Four Executive Leadership Appointments
Zan Turvey, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
A go-to-market veteran in technology and consulting, Zan will lead GOBEL’s integrated sales and marketing strategy, advancing net-new growth, renewals, and client success. He brings 30+ years of experience transforming engagement within healthcare, higher education, and academic medicine, including leadership roles at Kindsight, Blackbaud, Oracle, and Salesforce. His track record in optimizing technology investments and modernizing constituent engagement positions GOBEL to expand its reach and deepen partnerships across the sector.
Steve MacLaughlin, Senior Vice President of Product
A bestselling author and longtime product executive in nonprofit technology, Steve will guide GOBEL’s product vision and roadmap, connecting market needs with continuous innovation. He previously served as Vice President of Product Management at Blackbaud, leading teams in digital fundraising, data, payments, and CRM solutions. At GOBEL, he will oversee the full product lifecycle, from discovery and design through launch and adoption, with a focus on data, digital fundraising, and analytics that lift fundraiser productivity and donor experience.
Patrick McDonough, Senior Vice President of Technology
Patrick brings 20+ years in technology, data platforms, and enterprise SaaS, previously CTO at STARLIMS and HealthcareSource, with earlier engineering leadership at Epsilon. He has modernized large-scale healthcare talent platforms and built a global SaaS marketing platform recognized by Forrester; at GOBEL he’ll modernize analytics and platform engineering while advancing enterprise security and compliance.
Leah Carden, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Leah was the co-founder and former CFO of Aspen RxHealth. Before Aspen, she led three high-growth companies through successful sales. At GOBEL, she oversees finance, accounting, and operations, driving forecasting, scalable processes, and investment discipline to align resources with client impact.
