$10M+ healthcare gifts in February 2026:
- Dana-Farber celebrated an over $100M donation from Josh and Anita Bekenstein and Jonathan and Jeannie Lavine. The donation will name the new freestanding cancer hospital planned for the Longwood Medical Area when it opens in 2031.
- UCLA Health announced a $100M gift from Stewart and Lynda Resnick. The donation will fund the expansion of mental and behavioral health services at UCLA Health and support completion of a new neuropsychiatric hospital and a comprehensive mental health campus.
- Providence St. Vincent Medical Center announced a $75M donation from Phil and Penny Knight. The donation supports cardiac care at Providence Heart Institute and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
- Northwestern Medicine celebrated a $50M donation from The Bluhm Family Foundation and Neil G. Bluhm. The donation supports the Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute.
- Mass General Brigham announced a $35M donation from Irving Oil. The gift supports advancing cancer care and enhancing the patient experience. Additionally, the gift names two spaces, the Irving Oil Limited Center for Urgent Cancer Care in Honor of Arthur L. Irving and the Irving Oil Limited Healing Garden in Honor of Arthur L. Irving.
- Hoag Hospital Foundation announced a $30M donation from Ron and Sandi Simon. The gift launches a workforce housing initiative to support recruitment and retention of hospital staff.
- Virginia Tech received a $20M donation from Jim and Augustine Smith. The gift supports in-state scholarships for medical students.
- The University of Kentucky Markey Center Foundation donated $12.5M to the UK Markey Cancer Center and the UK College of Medicine. The donation supports caring for patients, education, and research priorities.
- Duke Health celebrated a $11.45M award from The Fund Established by the Will of Nanaline H. Duke. The donation supports opportunities for physician-scientists.
- UNSW Sydney celebrated an A$10.8M donation from Shirley and John Sarks. The gift establishes the Shirley and John Sarks Chair in Age-related Macular Degeneration.
- UConn celebrated over $10M in donation from the Elisabeth C. DeLuca Foundation. Funding supports nursing student opportunities at UConn Waterbury.
- Children’s Wisconsin announced a $10M donation from Barri and Dave Drury. The donation supports the Children’s Research Institute through the Drury Family Discovery Fund and helps retain and recruit top talent.
- Naples Comprehensive Health announced a $10M donation from The Brynne and Robert Coletti Family. The donation supports oncology services in honor of the late Brynne Coletti.
- Lake-Sumter State College received a $10M donation from The Live Well Foundation of South Lake. The donation supports the new Health Professions Academic Building on the South Lake Campus.
- The Prostate Cancer Foundation announced a $10M gift from an anonymous donor. The gift launches a TACTICAL (Therapy ACceleration To Intercept CAncer Lethality) Award, which will address a critical challenge in advanced prostate cancer.
- Sunnybrook Hospital celebrated a $10M CAD donation from Brian Reeve. The donation supports and expands obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) research and treatment.
- Jefferson Abington Hospital celebrated a transformational gift from Bruce and Judi Goodman. The gift named the Goodman Emergency Trauma Center at Jefferson Abington Hospital.
- East Tennessee Children’s Hospital celebrated a transformational gift from Dolly Parton. The donation names the Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital.
