$10M+ healthcare gifts in January 2026:

  • The University of California Davis announced a $120M donation from The Weill Family Foundation. The gift names and supports the UC Davis Weill Institute for Animal Health within the School of Veterinary Medicine.
  • SingHealth celebrated a S$135M ($102.5M USD) from the estate of Khoo Teck Puat. The gift names the Khoo Teck Puat Centre for Population Health and supports the healthcare continuum.
  • The University of Texas at Austin announced a $100M donation from Tench and Simone Coxe. The donation supports the launch of an academic medical center integrating UT research, Dell Medical School, and MD Anderson Cancer Care.
  • The University of Pittsburgh received a $53.5M donation from The Orland Bethel Family Foundation. The gift supported expansion of the Orland Bethel Family Musculoskeletal Research Center.
  • David and Jane Ott donated $50M to create the Women’s Health, Sports & Performance Institute. The gift supports the first exclusively women athlete-focused research, training, and medical facility.
  • Arkansas Children’s announced a $50M gift from B. Thomas Golisano. The hospital joins the Golisano Children’s Alliance and will be renamed the Arkansas Children’s Golisano Campus.
  • Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia also received a $50M gift from B. Thomas Golisano. The hospital joins the Golisano Children’s Alliance and will be renamed the Wellstar Golisano Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
  • University of California, Los Angeles announced a $40M donation from the late Lawrence “Larry” Layne. The gift supports athletic programs, including supporting the mental health of student-athletes.
  • Jupiter Medical Center announced a $35M donation from Tim and Jayne Donahue. The gift names the Tim and Jayne Donahue Patient Care Tower.
  • The National Council for Mental Wellbeing announced a $32M donation from MacKenzie Scott. The unrestricted gift is the second the organization has received from Ms. Scott since 2022.
  • Jared Isaacman committed $30M to advancing children’s and community health in Pennsylvania. The Guthrie Clinic, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and UPMC Children’s Hospital Foundation are beneficiaries of the donation.
  • NC Children’s, a joint venture between Duke Health and UNC Health, celebrated a $25M donation from Coca-Cola Consolidated. The gift supports the launch of the new children’s hospital.
  • The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center celebrated a $25M grant from the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation. The grant established the UChicago Medicine Ralph Lauren Center.
  • NewYork-Presbyterian celebrated a $20M donation from Emilia Fazzalari. The gift created the Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Center of Excellence and the Emilia Fazzalari Women’s Health Program, together known as Fazzalari Women’s Health.
  • The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine celebrated a $20M donation from The Hastings Foundation. The gift supports the recruitment of a new leader for the Hastings Center for Pulmonary Research.
  • Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent’s Medical Center celebrated a $15M gift from the estate of the late Neil Mellen. The gift enhances and expands the inpatient oncology unit.
  • The Global Polio Eradication Initiative received a $15M commitment from Alwaleed Philanthropies. The funding supports vaccination campaigns and other outreach programs in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
  • The Foundry says that an anonymous foundation has donated a building in Vancouver, valued at over $13M CAD. The gift allows the organization to expand its free mental health and substance-use care for youth.
  • The Karolinska Institutet received a SEK 102M ($11.2M USD) donation from The Cancer Research Funds of Radiumhemmet. The gift finances diagnosis-specific research, infrastructure, and research positions.
  • Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons celebrated a $10M donation from The Essel Foundation, Inc. The gift supports the Department of Psychiatry and launches the Dr. Herbert Pardes Scholars Initiative.
  • The International Hot Rod Association donated $10M to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The gift supports pediatric research.
  • Kimball Union Academy celebrated a $10M bequest from Phillip H. Morse. The gift supports a new Athletics and Wellness center.
  • Hackensack Meridian Health announced a $10M gift from Helena Theurer. The gift establishes the Helena Theurer Endowed Student Scholarship.
